Girl gets it!

Journey figured out what was wrong with the S:AaB DVD menu picture. And yeah, that's pretty much what happened - they hired an r-tard for a graphic designer who thought "hey, this space station looks spacey, let's put it in."

Morons. Oh, well, I've heard the series itself is pretty good, so I'll see what I think and perhaps forgive them their transgression against B5. Episode 1 at least started out interestingly enough. I like shows that hit the ground running.

Dear God... you're right! Permit me to **headdesk**

Anywho, if'n you could do your thing with SAAB pretty soon, that'd be fab -- I'm leaving for Milwaukee on Friday. Are you free any time this week for one last hurrah before I become a cheesehead?

Also, did you have any interest in seeing the movie Stardust (based on Neil Gaiman's novel of the same name?)

Do my thing? Well, it's in my queue for watching after ReGenesis (awesome show by the by, similar to House but with a research/biology focus and much sounder science...and it's Canadian), but I can give you my files if you want. I can give you season 1 of ReGenesis, too, along with the SAAB episodes.

I am free every evening this week except for possibly meeting with Ray at IIT to go over classes, but that might be earlier in the day. Let me know when's good for you.

Perhaps I should be less vague: can I have my DVDs back? Pretty please? If you've already returned 'em, I apologize, I'm a space case. No pun intended.

Wednesday or Thursday evening are looking good, if you're free. Let me know what day works best for you. Yay!

Heh. Actually, spacier than you know. I never borrowed them in the first place. 8-)

Wed. or Thurs. should be good for me. I'd say shoot for Wednesday for now, but I'll let you know if something comes up.

Is the movie adaptation of Stardust out yet? That's something I'd be willing to go see. I'm ohsocloseseriouslyaboutthiiiiiiisclose to done with American Gods, working on it in fits & starts, so a Gaiman-based movie would be cool to see. Considering I still have a while to wait for Golden Compass.

I thought I brought the set over to your house... Did I not? Guess not -- just found them downstairs. Bizarre... Sorry 'bout that. My brain is slowly turning to gelatin.

Just saw Stardust today; it was a *perfect* adaptation of the book. Magical, strange, with a touch of darkness and sweetness. Not as elaborate as American Gods, not as downright creepy as Neverwhere (although there were entrails involved...)

Anywho, Wednesday evening works!

Hey there!

Just wondering, have you read William Gibson's Neuromancer yet? I ask, because I just read his newest, Spook Country--it was very weird and cool and confusing and smart. Cryptonomicon is leering at me, but I've had so much reading to do for school... Bah.

Anywho, how goes it with you?
